Full Job Description KeyResponsibilitiesinclude,butarenotlimitedto:
Mustbewillingtoworkovertimeonweekends,holidays,andafter-hourswhenon call MakedailymechanicalcheckonequipmentintheMechanicalRoom,Roof,HVAC,EMSsystems,refrigerated cases and walk-ins. etc. Maintainallrefrigeration,HVAC,EMSsystems,electrical,andmechanicalsystemsandmakenecessaryrepairs. Performs preventative maintenance tasks, leak checks, inspections and records required information and maintainsjurisdictionallyapplicablerecords,EPAformsandrequireddocumentationinbothpaperformatstore and electronic in Corrigo and Trakref. MonitorspreventivemaintenanceworkdonebyoutsidecontractorsandnotifiesAreaRefrigerationManagerof issues or problems with outside contractors. Responsiblefortroubleshootingrefrigeration,HVAC,mechanicalandelectricalproblems,performingrepairs, documenting solutions and recommending further action. Maintainsahightechnicallevelintroubleshootingandmaintenanceofmechanicalandelectricalequipment. Managecommunicationsforservicecallsinatimelymannerasrequired. Maintaincurrentlicense,inspection,permit,andcertificaterequirementstomeetallstateandlocalcodes. OperatesEMSbuildingcontrolsandautomationsystems.

Finetuneoperatingparameters.

Adjustsetpointsand schedules. Fully understand and modify building control sequences and operates the
EMS / BMS
systems.
Performavarietyofadministrativetaskssuchas:
orderingmaterialandwritingpurchaseorders,anddataentry for work reports and refrigerant leak reports via company supplied electronics. Performalldutiesinatimely,efficient,≺ofessionalmanner. Maintainaneat,cleanandsafeworkareainmechanicalroom,roof,servicevehicle, etc.
Qualifications:
Thefollowingare preferred :
EducationLevel:
HighSchooldiplomaorequivalent.

GraduateofRefrigeration/Mechanicalschoolorcompletionofaminimum of three years apprenticeship .
ExperienceLevel:
MinimumofthreeyearsinGroceryRefrigerationandHVACrelatedwork.
SkillsandExperiences:
Excellentverbalandwrittencommunication skills. Abletoperformdutieswithahighdegreeofaccuracyandcaretoavoidmechanicalbreakdowns. Abletorespondtodirectandradiorequestsassoonas possible. AbletomaintainproperneatuniformappearanceofCompanyprovidedworkshirtandemployeeprovidedclean blue jeans without holes or tears. WearrequiredPersonalProtectiveEquipmentasrequiredincludingarcflashandsafetyglasses. Mustbecomputerliterate. Mustpossessavaliddriver'slicense. MustpossessanEPASection608UniversalCertification Abilitytoreadandcomprehendmanuals,prints,andwork orders. Knowledgeoftoolsandequipmentmaintenance. Generalrecordkeepingskills. Customerserviceorientationandsensitivitytodiverseneedsofcoworkers,employees,andotherpersons contacted in the daily course of work. Abilitytoworkindependently.
PHYSICALENVIRONMENT
Mostworkisperformedinbothindoorandoutdoorwork environments. Abilitytoperformmanuallabor. Incumbentmayusevarioustradetools,andotherofficeequipmentinthecourseofnormalworkday. Stooping,bending,twisting,lifting,andreachingisrequiredincompletionofjobduties Thepayrangeis$50.00to$62.00perhour,butnolessthanthelocalminimumwage.

Startingrateswillvarybasedon things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accruedbasedonhoursworked),paidholidays(between7-9daysannually),bereavementpay,andretirementbenefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).
TRAVELREQUIREMENTS
100%basedonassignedgeographicalarea.
