CONTRACT 8-10 WEEKS

Lockport Rehab and Health Care Center is looking for a Contract LPN to work for 8-10 Weeks. These positions require self direction, leadership and accountability to the Nurse managers and the Administrative team consisting of the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing and the MDS Coordinator Responsibilities and Duties As a member of the team, this position requires passing of medications, completion of treatments, and documentation in electronic medical record. Mentoring of certified nursing assistants, interaction with departments such as therapy, dietary and social work to ensure comprehensive person centered care is delivered is an essential part of the position. We offer sub acute rehab as well as long term care. Work closely with scheduler to staff facility according to staffing plans. Qualifications and Skills • Graduation from an accredited nursing school. Current licensure in New York. Qualified candidates would be required to be flexible in their schedule. Compassionate individuals Candidates with experience in dementia care, respiratory care, post operative care, wound care and end of life care will find satisfaction in working in this facility.
