Application cut-off dates are the 15th and the last day of each month With supervisor approval, incumbents may be eligible for intermittent remote work; however, they must physically reside within the Sacramento region or have the ability to regularly report to a City of Sacramento physical worksite with little notice. The City of Sacramento is seeking a Personnel Analyst to join the Labor Relations Division, ADA & Leave Administration Unit, of the Human Resources Department. The Personnel Analyst will act as the City's Leave Administrator and will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, administering leave of absence and sick leave programs, developing and administering trainings for employees at various levels, and providing excellent customer service to employees and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable professional with expertise in an employer's responsibilities under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the California Family Rights Act (CFRA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). They should have the ability to analyze and interpret laws, labor agreements, regulations, and policies, applying a comprehensive understanding of human resource management principles. The ideal candidate brings experience independently administering leave of absence programs, and demonstrates professionalism, competence, and a strong work ethic.
