- Friday 7:00am
- 4:00pm or 8:00am
- 5:00pm, with the ability to be flexible in order to meet coverage across a three-shift operation.
Responsibilities:
Maintain all employee and applicant documentation and employee records. Ensure compliance with I-9 employment eligibility verification and periodically audits Forms I-9. Maintain employee personnel files and proper record keeping. Assist with policy development and documentation. Maintain current health benefits program. Monitor employee eligibility for benefits plans. Review benefits with employees and processes and assist with enrollments. Organize and assist with annual open enrollment communications and election process. Report, maintain, and monitor time and attendance for employees. Monitor, adjust and submit weekly payroll for all employees. Process payroll reports for agencies. Participate in the recruiting process, confirm recruiting strategy with HR team, interview candidates, coordinate offer approval, coach managers on recruiting process and vendor management to facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions. Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as required. Organize employee onboarding and, coordinate training and development initiatives.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent; Preferred-HR Certification or bachelor's degree. 1-2 years' HR experience. (Will consider new graduates with a degree in HR or related to). Experience in Automotive manufacturing experience or related field, a plus. Basic knowledge of all HR disciplines including performance management, recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, talent management, compensation, Health and Safety, etc. Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization. Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times. Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently. Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail. Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Excellent time and project management skills. Bilingual in French would be a huge plus! Willing to travel as needed and other duties may be assigned.Exempt, Full-time Job Type:
