Job Overview:
The Entry-level Phlebotomist plays a key role in patient interactions, ensuring a professional and compassionate experience for those undergoing routine health screenings and critical diagnostic testing. This position is responsible for drawing high-quality blood specimens, preparing them for laboratory processing, and following established procedures. The professional fosters trust and professionalism while maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy in patient information.
Compensation:
$22-$24/hour
Location:
Lenox, MI Schedule:
Mon -Fri 8am-5pm EST-day shift
Responsibilities:
Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with accuracy and professionalism. Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper documentation. Deliver excellent customer service to create a positive patient experience. Work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced setting while managing multiple priorities. Adhere to company policies, including dress code, health and safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred
Work Experience:
At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections. Prior customer service experience in a retail or service setting preferred. Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry required.
