The refinery has the potential to operate at an annual production capacity of about 900 million pounds of copper cathode, which is sufficient to refine all the copper anode we produce at our Miami operations in Arizona. There are many shopping centers, parks, hiking trails and numerous restaurants for our employees and their families to enjoy.', '\nWhat You Will Do', 'Lead employment and compliance-based investigations.', '\nAct as Company's sole representative during legal and binding arbitration, appeal's board and open-door processes to settle disputes with employees.', '\nCollaborate with site HR and Operations leadership to provide advice on HR and labor regulatory issues; this may include acting as a coach for new HR team members.', '\nCollaborates with leadership in effective performance management (ensures alignment with policies and procedures) and coaches on developing effective pipeline and succession plans.', '\nImplement cost effective and practical HR solutions while ensuring the ability to attract and retain required skills.', '\nImplement projects as directed by site leadership, facilitating change management, engagement, coaching and advising of stakeholders.', '\nResponsible for protecting and maintaining privacy of employee personnel records, including compensation information.', '\nImplement HR goals, processes, practices and systems to build organizational and individual capability (i.e., staffing, performance management, training & development, employee relations).', '\nGuides leaders and employees regarding Company policies, values, HR programs and monitors for compliance with Federal, State, and local laws.', '\nAnalyzes and uses HR metrics, such as turnover, time system data and overtime reports, to determine appropriate action. Including supporting workforce planning and forecasting initiatives.', '\nPerform other duties as requested.', '\nWhat You Bring To Freeport', 'Master's degree and one (1) year professional human resources experience; OR', '\nMaster's degree and two (2) years related industrial or manufacturing employee relations experience; OR', '\nBachelor's degree and two (2) years professional human resources experience; OR', '\nBachelor's degree and three (3) years related industrial or manufacturing employee relations experience; OR', '\nHigh School Diploma/GED and six (6) years professional human resources experience', '\nUnderstand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective.', '\nUnderstanding of and experience with most or all of the core aspects of Human Resources Management (staffing, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, leadership development, training, etc…).', '\nExperience working within a dispute resolution process.', '\nExperience in independently leading an investigation process.', '\nExperience in addressing complex employee relations issues autonomously.', '\nExperience in independently handling routine and complex scenarios utilizing various resources.', '\nExperience leading a project to completion.', '\nAbility to address and resolve workplace conflicts.', '\nCourage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism, poise and diplomacy skills.
