TEMP TO HIRE POSITION VIA OUR STAFFING AGENCY, MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECKS. 1.0 PURPOSE
Perform AV installation tasks, including, but not limited to, site preparation, cable pulls, cable terminations, component installation, hardware mounting, structure and metal fabrication, and project closeout tasks. 2.0 JOB DUTIES
  • Review project scope with customer upon arrival.
  • Review equipment list with customer upon delivery.
  • Communicate daily job site status to the Project Manager.
  • Mentor Level I Technicians.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
  • Assist Lead Tech with management of tools, equipment, and hardware.
  • Perform installation tasks for audio visual projects according to SOW, maps, diagrams, instructions, blueprints, and elevations.
  • Assist Lead Technician with managing project scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements.
  • Projector and screen structure installations.
  • Use of hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks.
  • Understand basic signal flow.
  • Test point to point functionality of systems.
  • Assist with basic rack wiring.
  • Travel to various job sites as required.
  • Effectively communicate with employees, customers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work and think independently.
  • Minor programming capability, changes and/or troubleshooting as required.
  • Perform other duties as needed. 3.0 QUALIFICATIONS
  • Two (2) years of audiovisual installation experience preferred.
  • Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • General AV certifications preferred.
  • General OSHA Construction Certs (Fall Protection, Rigging, Lift, etc.) preferred.
  • CTS General Certification
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification
  • Extron AV Certifications
  • Crestron AV Certifications
  • Valid driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Report 4.0 TRAVEL
  • Work hours will vary based on client requirements and will include travel to various locations in support of the account.
5.0 PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb ladders up to 20 feet tall and be able to work in small spaces and on uneven surfaces.
  • This position requires you to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. 6.0 DEFINITIONS
