Ingenium Aerospace is a small, flexible, and fast-paced aerospace and defense subcontractor whose mission is to provide quality actuation, rotating components, and related products and services to the aerospace and defense markets. We provide mechanical and electromechanical solutions to the complex challenges from our customers. We are noted for engineering, prototyping, and production of flight controls, utility actuation, and other types of rotating component equipment for the latest generation of vehicles. OUR LOCATION
Ingenium Aerospace is located in Rockford, Illinois, an hour west of Chicago. The Rockford region provides a great quality of life and is an attractive regional center for people to live, work, and play. With a population of over 150,000, Rockford is large enough to provide all the services, shopping, and dining options for daily life. It is a great place for singles, young couples, and those later in life as it provides many local recreational and cultural experiences, while also only a short drive from the amenities and options of Chicago, Madison, and Milwaukee. The Rockford region is also one of the most affordable housing markets in the U.S. per The Wall Street Journal , with growing healthcare, aerospace, and logistics industries.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
In general, this position is highly energetic requiring significant multi-tasking and exceptional communication skills across all aspects of the business. The successful candidate could be deployed to support any area in the organization deemed necessary by the Network and IT Systems Administrator.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to adapt to daily priority changes within the organization Create documentation and document repair and installation steps Assist any area of the organization including Information Technology, Operations, and Cybersecurity Ability to embrace learning and grow with the organization Absorb high level tasks and create, formulate, and execute specific efficient plans and strategies to complete assignments Maintain and update hardware and software packages Assist with systems imaging and onboarding/offboarding users Provide IT support for non-technical employees
Requirements:
MIMINUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent 2-4+ years' experience Knowledge of networking services and common networking protocols Proficiency with various types of hardware and software Exceptional problem solving, organizational and documentation skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated ability to overcome challenges and drive projects to completion U.S. Citizen, no dual citizenship
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS A
technical 4-year college/university degree preferred A+ /Network+ / Security + / MCP / MCSE certifications Microsoft Windows desktop and Hyper V SolidWorks Enterprise PDM software OSI Model and network functions
