is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of industrial equipment, including water jets, ovens, and presses. Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including water jet machines, ovens, and presses. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues efficiently. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve overall operational efficiency. Stay updated on industry's best practices and emerging technologies to enhance maintenance processes. Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial robots (ABB, Fanuc, Yaskawa) as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of electro-pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems. Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs and industrial automation systems. Experience with robotic systems, particularly ABB, Fanuc, and Yaskawa, is a significant advantage. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed. Mentor and train junior technicians and new employees on best practices and safety procedures Actively participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
