Position Overview The Fleet Operations Associate I will complete a variety of transportation duties with an emphasis on delivering materials to internal locations and teams. This position will work within defined protocols and procedures to ensure material availability across campus locations. This position is designed to help cross-functionally support operational needs related to material availability. Essential Duties Include but are not limited to the following: Ensures material support for all internal teams through delivery of materials to internal cross-campus locations. Assists with the safe and timely transportation of materials including but not limited to hazardous materials, specimens, supplies, reports and inventory materials to appropriate location and teams. Work within designated software platforms for daily request fulfillment. Transport packages in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as internal safety protocols and procedures. Load trucks by properly placing and securing items. Unload trucks using material handling equipment when applicable. Perform vehicle safety inspections as well as assist with DOT logs when applicable. Support and comply with the company's environmental health and safety (EHS) procedures. Ability to accurately follow standard operating procedures (SOP's). Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in team situations as well as independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to operate company vehicles for an extended period. Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork. Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization. Regular and reliable attendance. Ability to work nights and/or weekends. Ability to work overtime as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or push up to 75+ pounds for approximately 50% of a typical working day. Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 25% of a typical working day. Ability to grasp with both hands; pinch with thumb and forefinger; turn with hand/arm; reach above shoulder height. Ability to comply with any applicable personal protective equipment requirements. Ability and means to travel between local Exact Sciences locations. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). 1+ years of experience driving vehicles larger than 15ft. Possession of or ability to obtain a forklift certification within 90 days of hire date and maintain throughout employment in the position. Possession of or ability to become certified to operate up to or including a 26-foot straight truck with air brakes within 90 days of hire date and maintain throughout employment in the position. Possession of or ability to become Hazmat certified within 90 days of hire date and maintain throughout employment in the position. Possession of a valid driver's license, no more than two moving violations in the past 36 months, and no unresolved license revocation or suspension issues. Proficient in using basic software applications including Microsoft Office. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a Distribution/Warehouse setting. Understanding of DOT & Hazmat regulations. #LI-HE1

Salary Range:

$35,000.00

• $56,000.00 The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US
• WI•Madison on a full-time basis.
