Description:

Tech Support Services requires a short-term contractor in the role of Technical Support Analyst. This position will provide much needed support for administration of production DB2, CICS, Endevor, and X/PTRsystems.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality The ability to provide configuration management / release management support and guidance for Endevor software Thorough knowledge of SQL Structured Query Language programming language and techniques Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2 The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings The ability to provide CICS administration problem-solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnel

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

Knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality, Required 5 Years Experience with configuration management / release management support and guidance for Endevor software, Required 7 Years Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques, Required 7 Years Knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2, Required 5 Years Proper email communication will only be done to and from @astyra.com email addresses.
