Genesis10 is seeking a Clinical Applications Analyst (EpicOrders) for a 6
  • month remote contract position with a leadingclient in Shaker Heights, OH. This role pays $60-80 /hour W2 basedon experience. You could be just the right applicant for this job Read allassociated information and make sure to apply.

Responsibilities:
The position is visible to clinicians withsignificant impact on patient safety, JCAHO, HIPAA, departmentaland patient workflow. The Clinical Analyst II is responsible for independently providingmajor enterprise application configuration support as well as otherapplications as assigned to enhance operational efficiencies andpatient safety. Performs needs assessment, software design, implementation,support, and reporting. Independently facilitates design of clinical workflow inconjunction with the clinicians; workflows will focus on improvedefficiencies, solving complex workflow issues and incorporatingquality initiatives. Coordinates and participates in unit and integrated testingactivities of the software to ensure that the design objectives aremet, including the development of testing scripts. Participates in change management activities to support successfulsystem deployments and enhancements. Leads components of development of end-user training materials andparticipates in training efforts. Assists other team members in ensuring good documentationstandards. Leads escalation of issues with appropriate internal resources. Identifies and analyzes moderately complex issues with vendorassistance and brings problem tickets to resolution. Develops policies and procedures in collaboration with clinicians,other system analyst team members, and IT Clinical teammanager. Independently manages components of application upgrades andtroubleshooting efforts. Supports and troubleshoots Hospital Information Systems interfacesfor inbound/outbound and billing orders. Creates reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools to supportcustomer base. Creates and maintains appropriate system documentation. Works with other clinical and application analysts to insure systemintegrations. Utilizes and maintains appropriate change control procedures andstandards. Provides direction to junior team members. Performs call rotation duties as required.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT): Will maintain clinical licensure as required by state law.
Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum 3 years of IT experience supporting applications isrequired. Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical environment is highlydesired. Must be detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical andproblem solving ability. Notable client service, communication, presentation andrelationship building skills required. Ability to function independently and as a team player in afast-paced environment required. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite, andgeneral office equipment (i.e. printers, copy machine, FAX machine,etc.) required. Knowledge of MS Visio and Project required. Knowledge of SQL databases required. Knowledge of LAN, DNS, and networking required. Ability to work with servers and apply software upgradesrequired. Knowledge of disaster recovery and backup procedures required. Musthave experience working with clinical applications such as: Laboratory systems (CoPath, Soft Lab, HCLL Blood Bank) Radiology systems PACs OTTR Pharmacy systems (Management, dispensing) Eclipsys Sunrise Clinical Manager Perioperative systems (Picis) Cardiology systems (HeartLab) Home Health systems Emergency Department systems Ambulatory EMR systems Document Management systems Genesis10
