FSCA is the leading provider of on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide, offering mobile on-site fleet service for light medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. FSCA also services customers utilizing its 20+ nationwide service centers; each offering accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair. We are supported by a 24/7 in-house call center and provide scheduled maintenance services and unscheduled services to fleets anyw, anytime. FSCA is currently hiring a Sr Trailer Body Shop Tech to join our Field Maintenance Team to support the future growth of the Company. Sr Trailer Body Shop Technician will be responsible for performing advanced structural repairs, small patches, caulking/sealing, water testing, removing decals, sanding/grinding and other duties as assigned such as aluminum and chem-lite, replacement of panels, cross-members, floorboards, framework, welding, fabrication, refrigerated trailer repair, and trailer support repair. Heavily relied upon for advanced structural repairs and triage ofplicated repairs by Trailer Body Shop Technician I/II. A successful Sr Trailer Body Shop Technicianplies with allpany policies and achieves high level performance metrics. Primary Duties/Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced structural repairs, small patches, caulking/sealing, water testing, removing decals, sanding/grinding and other duties as assigned such as aluminum and chem-lite, replacement of panels, cross-members, floorboards, framework, welding, fabrication, refrigerated trailer repair, and trailer support repair in a Shop environment.
- Support Trailer Body Shop Technician I/II in obtaining correct parts for each job.
- Identify problems, determine accuracy and relevance of information, use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and make rmendations.
- Assist Trailer Body Shop Technicians I/II with advancedplicated repairs.
- Use hand tools, precision instruments, as well as Trailer tools, welding equipment, lifts and jacks.
- Document according topany standards such as pictures of work performed, parts used, and all findings observed on Repair Orders ("RO") usingpany issued device and/or Karmak application.
- Inspect all repaired and primed panels for proper andplete body repairs and primer application.
- Work with Service Writer/Estimator/Parts to assess customer needs, provide information or assistance, resolving their problems, or satisfying their expectations.
- Follows andplies with safe operating practices and procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Assist in cleanup at the end of each day for tools, parts, and equipment.
- Applies knowledge that is acquired through formal training or on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job.
- Act with integrity, demonstrate honesty and keepmitments. Behave in a consistent manner, keeping sensitive information confidential and adhering to ethical and professional standards.
- Perform minor adjustment and repairs on various types of trailer equipment including small patches, caulking/sealing, and other duties as assigned such as water testing, removing decals, sanding/grinding in a Shop environment.
- Perform intermediate adjustments and light repairs, small patches, caulking/sealing, water testing, removing decals, sanding/grinding and other duties as assigned such as aluminum and chem-lite, replacement of panels, cross-members, floorboards in a Shop environment.
- Perform all work inpliance withanizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations, to include OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
- Identify problems, determine accuracy and relevance of information, using sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives.
- Manage concurrent assigned tasks, making effective judgments as to prioritizing work related activities and time allocations.
- Remain up to date on safety protocols and industry procedures.
- Communicate with Shop Manager and support team to discuss RO findings notes. Education/Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a differentbination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS Diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years' experience; or 7 years' experience in a related field.
- Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
- OEM training and certifications are preferred.
- Participate in andplete all-inpany required training
- This position follows regulations issued by the Department of Transportation's (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Candidate must be able to successfullyplete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.
- A current and valid DOT medical card with more than four (4) months remaining until its expiration may be submitted in leu of a DOT physical. If the DOT medical card has four (4) months or less of validity remaining, a DOT physical will be required.
- Due to interstate operating authoritymerce regulations, candidates must be at least 21 years or older.
- Safe drivers needed and 3 YR MVR review required; Candidate must hold a valid state-of-residence driver's license, be able to obtain and maintain their Driver Qualification File
- Welding Certification
- ASE T8 (PMI) certification Skills/Abilities

- Knowledge of trailer parts and systems, including their designs, and uses to make basic repairs.
- Understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk for long periods of time; ability to perform moderately heavy laboring work.
- Ability to exert oneself physically over long periods of time without tiring, which may include performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to accurately judge which of several objects is closer or farther away from the observer, or the distance between an object and the observer.
- Ability tomunicate information (for example, facts, ideas, or messages) in a succinct andanized manner. Engages in effective two-waymunication with individuals and groups.
- Ability to workfortably on heights up to 13' using ladders and scaffolding with provided safety equipment such as safety harnesses and guardrails.
