Clinical Program Assistant 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Mount Vernon, WA 98273 Clinical Program Assistant Mt Vernon, WA Compass Health is currently looking for a Clinical Program Assistant to join the team in Mt Vernon! The Clinical Program Assistant performs a variety of complex clerical and administrative duties with minimal supervision. Responsibilities may include triaging calls, coordinating communication between team and clients, assisting clients, families, and other agencies in getting answers to questions, de-escalating situations, coordinating management information system, maintaining client confidentiality, and providing general clerical support to clinical and medical staff as assigned. This position provides administrative support to all teams located at Mount Vernon office which includes Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), Adult Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Adult Outpatient. What you will be performing Performs and/or oversees weekly data entry of client service records/client registration and files. Records admissions and discharges to provide source of information for statistical reporting. Tracks and implements changes in office policies and procedures. Collects data necessary to prepare reports. Manages mail distribution. Acts as Receptionist, which includes greeting clients, answering phones, helping clients and families, working with callers or visitors to ease urgent situations or temporarily manage them until other staff is available, and letting staff know of client symptomatic behaviors. Maintains system for dispersing money to clients in accordance with their budgets and treatment plans, communicates with financial guardians and protective payees. Maintains system for receiving in money from clients/guardians, bank deposits. Coordinates meetings, including scheduling rooms and material preparation. Prepares correspondence, reports, display and minutes as requested. Maintains and reviews files to ensure compliance with WAC licensing and contract requirement. Participates in regularly scheduled supervision and team meetings. Attends other agency meetings as assigned. Remains compliant with required trainings and certifications. Behaves in an ethical and professional manner consistent with agency policy, state law, and licensing entities if applicable. Understands and practices safekeeping of client protected health information per Compass Health's HIPAA and other agency policies and procedures. Demonstrates respect for diversity and a commitment to developing multicultural competency and sensitivity. What you will be carrying along High School Diploma or equivalent required, AA or BA Degree preferred. Experience in medical, mental health or social services field preferred. Valid Washington State Driver's License required including vehicle and appropriate insurance, if applicable. What you will be sharing Excellent clerical and/or administrative skills. Basic knowledge of money management and good math skills. Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problems. Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. General computer proficiency, including the ability to utilize electronic medical record systems and accurate typing and word processing skills. The employee will be working in a clinical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and use close vision.
