Full Job Description Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills Written and verbal communication skills to understand issues customers have and to explain technical information to customers in clear terms Problem-solving skills to diagnose problems with malfunctioning equipment Time-management skills to handle appointments efficiently and stay on schedule Attention to detail to spot issues and complete accurate reports about the repairs Organizational skills to keep tools and paperwork organized while in the field Practice and adherence to safety standards Technical Skill Sets Strong RF skill set with experience in QAM and L-Band signals IP skills, networking experience, IP multi-cast knowledge, and ability to rack and stack networking equipment DOCSIS or h.Gn experience strongly preferred, with experience balancing return paths Strong satellite installation experience Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP technical knowledge Working knowledge of computer systems and general Internet and networking technologies
Experience:
Relevant education and work experience is a must. Proficiency in English, and possess excellent verbal and written communication aptitude. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects from a remote location.
