This Position reports to the

Technical Support Manager Job Description/Duties:

Maintain a basic knowledge of all Havis products Works hands on with engineers and installers to demonstrate time efficient ways of installation Write instructions for installation test instructions for accuracy and ease of use Travel to work sites of major customers to demonstrate installation techniques Trouble shoot installation problems by phone or in person, as needed Provide training when requested, to Havis employees and Havis customers Assists with special projects as needed

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Must be able to understand complex written and verbal directions and convey them to employees Must be able to read and analyze documents, technical procedures and government regulations Must be able to present information to groups of customers Must possess advanced understanding of vehicle electrical systems Must be able to solve complex problems with many variables 5+ years of experience in technical service/technical knowledge 5+ years of experience in automotive aftermarket equipment installations Must have basic knowledge of computers and operating systems Must be able to convey information clearly in verbal and written formats Must have manual dexterity, experience in auto install applications and be proficient in the use of hand tools Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing and bending Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus Work Environment -
