POSITION SUMMARY
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist within our People & Culture team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the recruitment process for all departments, providing a comprehensive and proactive service across The Travel Corporation and assist the team in delivering day to day processes and procedures.
Requirements:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition Planning & Support Act as the primary point of contact with hiring managers, to develop individual and tactical recruitment plans. Provide recruitment help, guidance, and support for hiring managers. Coach hiring managers on interview techniques and ensure legislative requirements are adhered to. Conduct preliminary stage interviews to assess candidate suitability on behalf of hiring managers. Contribute to recruitment strategies and assessment days. Support campus program. Identify and maintain suitable talent acquisition channels for all departments and brands. Proactively search for, identify, network with and directly contact active and passive job seekers, both internally and externally, for hard-to-hire and specific vacancies, sourcing the very best candidates using a variety of channels. When needed work closely with agencies to source candidates for specific roles. Partner with Global Talent Acquisition and the Learning & Development team to support and deliver recruitment-related workshops and initiatives. Stay up to date with industry trends in both recruitment and travel. Recruitment Administration Manage the Talent Acquisition system to achieve business goals and objectives. Ensure recruitment files are up to date with candidate information. Responsible for accurate and timely communication and follow-up to candidates and hiring managers. Management of the P&C System - including contracts of employment. Scheduling interviews based on candidate and stakeholder availability. People & Culture As part of the wider P&C Team, involvement in organizing companywide and office events. Contribute to a dynamic office culture characterized by diversity, equity and inclusion. Experience Proven experience within a similar role or equivalent. Experience with HRIS or ATS. The implementation of these being a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with leaders at all levels of the business (written and verbal). A positive approach; proactive and innovative, excellent team player with an enthusiastic attitude. Ability to accurately follow guidelines with great attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands. Actively contribute to the People & Culture team directives and strategies to enhance talent acquisition, employee engagement, employee retention and to the TTC business goals. Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
