Endoscopy Duties:

Document patient vital signs and provide updates on condition changes to the RN. Set up and maintain equipment for endoscopy and other procedures. Clean, sterilize, and troubleshoot endoscopic tools and accessories. Ensure adequate supplies are available, removing expired items regularly. Assist patients with daily activities and ensure their comfort during procedures. Perform routine checks of clinical alarms, refrigerators, and isolation equipment. Label and document patient specimens accurately for testing. Coordinate equipment repairs with appropriate departments or manufacturers. Transport patients safely and efficiently within the facility. Support team members in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized procedural environment.

Skills Required:

Experience in procedural healthcare settings such as endoscopy, OR, or catheterization labs. ACLS and BLS certifications are necessary.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required; additional education in sciences is preferred.

Stipend Range:

$89,000•$108,000 annually.
