Quality Technician $25+HR (2nd Shift)

Job Description Summary:

The Quality Inspector ensures the quality of all products produced within the organization meets all internal/external standards by auditing daily and/or hourly, performing product testing and collecting / entering raw data into the specific inspection logs.

Responsibilities:

Inspection / Audits / Testing o Complete a written line audit at set intervals throughout the shift. o Audit all product being packed, taping the box when full and signing the label in the corner as the Operator completes it, when required. o Conduct daily Material audits. o Verify the accurate completion of Operator Inspection sheets. o Visually inspect product from each press on a daily basis. o Verify proper functionality of all working scales. o Measuring part dimensions when identified by quality requirements. o Performing incoming and outgoing inspections. o Use calipers, height gauge, and other measuring equipment to measure product. o Read and interrupt drawings/prints. o Accept and reject product in accordance with quality standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience; High school degree or GED; or Equivalent years of experience
• Machining / plastic injection molding experience highly desired.
• Understanding of formal problem solving are highly beneficial.
• Intermediate level technical ability. Particular expertise in ERP, Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate to all levels of employees.
• Ability to multi-task and progress several projects simultaneously.

Work Environment Our facility is clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled, ensuring a comfortable work environment. You will work in a quality lab/office that does not smell like plastic. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
