Job Description

Salary Range:
$26 - 30 per hour (DOE) Job Summary Accurately weld pipes for heating & cooling and fire safety systems to specification while following all safety and company guidelines.
Job Duties:
Perform out-of-position pipe welding using various welding techniques, including TIG and MIG. Read drawings/wiring diagrams, hand tools, and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Use a plasma torch to cut various materials. Inspect weld to ensure acceptance of engineering and customer specifications. Adhere to all safety processes and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Keep accurate records of time worked and material used. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. 2 years of TIG and MIG welding experience. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly, and mechanical drawings. Must have strong mechanical skills and experience with basic hand tools and light power tools. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and may occasionally lift over 50 lbs, where employee assistance is required. Must be able to stand for long periods. High school diploma or equivalent. Able to do basic computer tasks.
