Summary:
Perform Tower Quality Inspections/Audits and repair work on Cell Towers. Ensure quality installations of communication sites with limited supervision. Position involves daily Tower climbing and repair of cell sites as needed. Knowledge of Civil work pour conc, underground power and telco, grounding etc. Must be able to travel.
Essential Qualifications:
Familiar with RF test gear and has the ability to adequately perform basic sweeps and PIM's testing. Certifications required this is a Plus. Familiar with proper procedures for all types of rigging operations. Has basic civil work skills used to build telecommunications sites. (Pour concrete, carpentry, landscaping, heavy equipment operation, etc.) Ability to assist in the building of all types of communication sites. (Self supporting, guyed, monopoles, and rooftops) Knowledge of Connector and RET installation Familiar with reading Construction drawings is a plus. Tower climbing certification is a plus, must be physically able to climb 300' and maintain an acceptable pace if certified. Ability to work at heights for extended periods of time. Basic first aid/CPR trained and certified is a plus. Ability to operate power tools and use hand tools that are required. Must have a valid US drivers license. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
