Endoscopy Clinical Assistant -

NYCSURGSUP NavitsPartners Tottenville, NY Endoscopy Clinical Assistant Duties:

Record and monitor patient vital signs, reporting changes to the RN. Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including setup and breakdown of equipment. Ensure endoscopy tools are properly disinfected and sterilized. Manage procedural room inventory, restocking supplies as needed. Provide patient support, including assisting with feeding, mobility, and personal care. Maintain and document equipment function checks and repairs. Prepare and label specimens for lab testing. Perform regular cleaning and organization of procedural spaces. Check alarms, refrigerators, and room pressures daily. Support the RN in ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Skills Required:

Hands-on experience in endoscopy or similar procedural environments. ACLS and BLS certification are required.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required; preference for candidates with science coursework.

Stipend Range:

$86,000 - $103,000 annually.
