Robert Half Software Engineer in Charlton , Massachusetts Description We are offering a employment opportunity for a Software Engineer in the education industry. This is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct the work of developers in various object-oriented languages, like Java or Python
• Coordinate development efforts and manage projects using Agile Scrum and Atlassian Jira
• Execute integration of systems using standard APIs such as REST, SOAP, JWT, etc
• Develop user interfaces and manage systems integration, as well as authentication methods
• Engage in web development and practice standard software engineering methods, including testing and release procedures
• Handle PaaS or SaaS development and maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse teams
• Utilize tools such as Java API for RESTful Web Services, REST API Design, SOAP - Simple Object Access Protocol, and PaaS Solutions.
• Ensure accurate processing and maintenance of customer credit applications and records. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the role of a Software Engineer or a related field in the Education industry
• Proficient in Atlassian Jira and Agile Scrum methodologies
• Experience in API Development, including

REST API, SOAP

API, and Java API for RESTful Web Services

• Strong knowledge in programming languages such as Java and Python
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Application Programming Interface (API)
• Familiarity with SOAP - Simple Object Access Protocol, and RESTful SOAP
• Proven experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS) and PaaS Solutions
• Experience in Enterprise SaaS, SaaS Environment, SaaS PaaS, SaaS Platform, and SaaS Software
• Familiarity with SAAS - Software As A Service
• Proficiency in Agile development practices
