Manufacturing Technician Black Star Technology LLC Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 Join Our Team as a Level II Maintenance Technician - Keep Our Production Running Strong! We're looking for a skilled and motivated Level II Maintenance Technician to help power our manufacturing operations. In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining and enhancing equipment reliability, ensuring smooth production flow, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Role & Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using systematic diagnostic techniques. Perform mechanical alignments, install/replace components, and adjust systems to meet performance standards. Complete preventive maintenance and major overhauls on motors, conveyor systems, and other production equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including wiring, lighting, and control systems using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Document all maintenance activities in our CMMS to support future planning and equipment reliability. Mentor and train junior technicians and team members. Recommend process improvements based on equipment performance insights.Skill & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (2-year Technical Degree preferred). 5+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience or equivalent skillset. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Experience with machine shop tools, measuring devices, and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills. Willingness to grow, train others, and stay current with new technologies. Quality & Safety Matter toUs:
Complete annual maintenance skills assessments and related training. Always follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment. Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to your supervisor. Adhere to all environmental protocols and procedures.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to safely work in an industrial environment with physical demands including standing, bending, lifting, and working around machinery.
