The Leidos Defense Sector, is seeking a talented Quality & Mission Assurance Auditor to join a diverse team to create unique solutions forplex problems within the Leidos Defense Sector. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber andmercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. Successful candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, and follow-up related to audits of quality management system processes and product-specific processes that meet the requirements of AS9100 and CMMI. To include audits of activities such as production, calibration, shelf life, human resources, purchasing and supplier evaluation, safety, nonconforming product, and business operations. Applicant must be able to work in fast-paced R D environment and in production environment with minimal supervision. Basic Qualifications Candidate must have a Bachelors degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant work experience or a Masters degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma/GED with 8 years of experience will be considered Establish and foster a quality culture dedicated to excellence and Leidos values. Ensure that the Defense Sector maintains an effective quality management system, by reporting on audit metrics that effect the enterprise. Conduct independent audits, ensuringpliance and fostering continual improvement. Ensure resolution of internal and external audit findings promptly through root cause analysis and corrective measures. Address escalated quality issues in a timely manner. Conduct trend analysis at sector and program levels, implementing measures for enterprise maturation. Perform deep dives to analyze program issues, facilitating containment and lessons learned. Review contract deliverables for conformance with requirements and quality standards. Lead structured improvement activities for continual enhancement at sector and program levels. Participate in formal post-award reviews, mitigate risks, and ensure product and service quality. Lead integration of acquiredanizations for quality management systempliance and process alignment. Communicate effectively with technical and management staff at allanizational levels, including senior management. Familiarity with

standards and expertise in navigating the structure of Quality Management Systems (QMS). Must have worked in an environment w the candidate participated in auditing of requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure aprehensive understanding of quality process requirements. Must be able to read and interpret procedures, work instructions, drawings, assembly schematics, and specifications. Develop audit plans, checklists, and metrics associated with audit events using strongputer skills. Must be able to report audit findings to all levels of management andmunicate problem areas. Must haveputer skills including experience with Microsoft Office as well as Business Intelligence (BI) tools. Must be able to work a full-time, 5-days per week 8-hours per shift. Manage multiple audit schedules unique to each program andanization for up to 3 years per program. Knowledge of contract requirements and DFARs etc. Serve/ host an external audit for both a second part (customer) and third party (certifying body). Ability to walk programs through requirements of each process in order to properly align the program with the QMS/ processes. Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance Conduct and participate in root cause and corrective action discussions to ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions. Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and auditing experience of Government and industry regulations such as FARs, DFARS, MIL-STDs, IPC, SAE, ASTM, and others preferred. Knowledge/understanding of special processes (NDE, Welding, Paining, etc.) Demonstrated experience in evaluating suppliers' quality processes and procedures is also preferred. Ability and knowledge to participate in a CMMI appraisal as a team member. Software Quality & Software Auditing experience is a benefit.

Pay Range:
