Position Purpose As a Tech Lead, you will play a crucial role in guiding the engineering team, driving development best practices, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will be hands-on in coding, mentoring developers, reviewing code, and improving engineering processes. Youll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between technical execution and business goals. Key Responsibilities Lead development efforts using the PERN stack (PostgreSQL, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). Serve as the technical point of contact for the engineering team, ensuring smooth development workflows. Mentor and guide other developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define feature requirements and technical solutions. Help streamline development processes, CI/CD workflows, and deployment practices. Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployments and monitoring. Implement unit and integration tests to maintain high-quality code. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues. Stay up to date with modern web technologies and industry trends, bringing new ideas to the team. 7+ years of experience in web development, with strong expertise in the PERN stack. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript (preferred), React.js, and Node.js. Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with PostgreSQL databases. Comfortable leading technical discussions and making trade-off decisions with stakeholders. Proven ability to mentor and support other engineers through code reviews and pair programming. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, particularly with performance and scalability issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Passion for continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and improving engineering workflows.
