Labor & Employment Specialist
This position will review Unemployment Insurance eligibility with claimants who are selected to complete the RESEAprogram. This position will review the claimants previous work search history to identify possible eligibility issues and determine if the claimant is able and available to seek and accept suitable employment. Report any potential UI eligibility issue to RESEA adjudication for review. This permanent part-time position will be expected to work 40 hours per week and is eligible for benefits. The normal working hours for this position are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The hours can and may fluctuate depending on workload and budget. Typically these positions will have a heavier workload from October through Marchand a lighter workload from April to September. Additionally, the budget for Unemployment Insurance is variable based oneconomic conditions. Fluctuations in workload and budget may require reduced work hours.

Experience Only:
Four (4) years and six (6) months of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position. An example of an occupation related to this position is Customer Service in a Direct Customer Support through dedicated platforms involving intermediate to complex data entry, crisis based case management and/or customer service.OR Education and Experience:
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to four (4) years and six (6) monthsRequired Competencies:

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in career counseling. Knowledge of Workforce Center Services and Connecting Colorado. Knowledge of unemployment insurance and available/work search eligibility requirements. Bilingual in Spanish. Previous experience working in a remote/virtual position. Familiarity with CRM software and ticketing systems. Proven ability to meet or exceed performance targets and KPIs. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Experience with client intake and assessments. Trauma informed approach. Experience performing similar duties as a local workforce center staff.Conditions of Employment:
