Job Overview The Solutions Engineer (SE) partners with Business Sales to sellT-Mobile for Business products and services by leveraging theirstrong technical skills, experience, and industry knowledge. SEsengage in pre-sales activities by consulting on customeropportunities to gain understanding of their business, identifytheir business challenges, and develop solutions which meet theirneeds. The SE architects and designs solutions utilizing T-Mobileor partner business solutions, equipment and network. SEs providetechnical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations,as well as providing answers to customer's technical inquiries. SEs further support Business Sales by reviewing specific customeropportunities and sales funnels. SEs will keep the Business Salesteams they support apprised of relevant technologies and industrytrends. They will also consult with Sales on the technical aspectsof T-Mobile for business products and services. As needed, SEspartner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales Ops, and Careteams to provide feedback, support special projects, and engage inmarket-level opportunities. SEs maintain their technical skills andindustry expertise by participating in internal and externaltraining opportunities. SEs also pursue and maintain partner orindustry certification as required for their position. Wireless Solutions Engineers (Wireless SE) also:
  • Understand and present T-Mobile wireless network and related keytechnologies
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of wireless handsets, mobilehotspots, tablets, and key wireless devices
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of wireless-related Value-AddedSolutions
  • Facilitate wireless network coverage analysis
  • Discuss and assist with processing In-Building Coveragerequests
  • Understand and present product roadmaps as needed
  • Understand and present network coverage/network build-out plans asneeded
  • Assist with post-sale support/escalations as needed
  • High-level portfolio awareness of T-Mobile Global WirelineSolutions network, solutions, and technologiesJobResponsibilities
  • Provide alignment and support to a group ofEnterprise clients, including Fortune 1000 and Global 500companies, within a specific geographic region Participate inclient meetings including Executive Briefings and onsite at clientlocations Enable coverage options and create suitable solutions forclient review Collaborate with clients to develop and expandsolutions, achieve business objectives, and overcome technicalchallenges Present and differentiate current & future state ofT-Mobile's Network capabilities & product roadmap Demonstrate coreand valued-added solutions to clients.
Provide technical guidanceand expertise for client Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and bids.

Collaborate with the Sales team on products and solutions toenhance sales performance at the regional & national levelsParticipate in client quarterly business reviews and accountplanning sessionsOwn client technical relationships and executiveengagementsSupport and manage the successful outcome of clientpilots & proof of concepts Lead complex client solution basedopportunities in sophisticated client segments such as Fortune 1K &Global 500. Provides Subject Matter Expertise in the followingareas of focus: IOT, UCaaS, Private Network/Network Slicing,SDWAN/Edge, Security, Fixed Wireless, etc.) Maintaining technicalknowledge by attend training in assigned areas Deep understandingof T-Mobile Solutions including network, products, andtechnologies. Ensure a positive client experience related torecommended solutions Ability to delegate and manage supportresources for high-level escalations Train Sales on technicaltopics, product updates including leading Tech Talks monthlyParticipate and lead Product, Network, & Marketing road-show and/orwebinars Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned bybusiness leadership as needed
Education:
High School Diploma/GED(Required)Bachelor's Degree STEM area of study strongly preferred.(Required)
Work Experience:
4-7 years Experiencein telecommunications, IT administration or network engineeringroles with a professional track record of successful solutionsales, managing internal/external relationships in a matrixenvironment. (Required)Experience supporting Enterprise and PublicSector accounts.

  • $177,520.
00The pay range above is the general base pay range for asuccessful candidate in the state listed. The successfulcandidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such aswork location, qualifications, and experience, so the actualstarting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile,employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for anannual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on theirrole. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonusbased on company and/or individual performance and which is set ata percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.

Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonusesbased on individual and/or team performance, while Retail andBusiness Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly salesincentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobileis eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
