$ 18.44-28.24 USD Join our team as a full-time UPMC Onboarding Specialist - Credentialing! This role serves Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, ensuring the timely setup of fully credentialed providers. After completing training, you'll have the flexibility to work from home two days per week. In this role, there is the opportunity to - Obtain necessary documentation from providers to facilitate initial credentialing and reappointment processes. Identify issues requiring investigation and collaborate with providers to address discrepancies and ensure follow-up. Review portal applications, facility forms, and state documents for accuracy before submission. Process applications in compliance with established procedures and timeframes. Assist providers with medical license and DEA license application and renewal processes. Maintain provider-specific records in the credentialing database, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform data entry and scanning in accordance with policies and guidelines. Compile and maintain current data for all providers, including licenses, DEA certificates, and clearances for timely renewals. Monitor the status of assigned processes and respond to inquiries about providers' credential status and privileges. Assist the CVO with primary source verification as needed. Distribute payor signature packets to providers and collaborate with Enrollment to ensure timely document return. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including providers, departments, CVO, Enrollment, and other offices.
Qualifications:
Required High school diploma or equivalent Excellent data entry and computer skills required and possess a strong desire to maximize the use of technology to automate processes Detail oriented person with excellent communication and strong customer service skills Must be able to work independently, be flexible, and function well in high stress situations Preferred College degree Prior credentialing experience
