As a skilled-level Automotive Technician and Mechanic, you will perform diagnoses and repairs in all areas. Responsibilities include specialized areas of repair such as brakes, tires, battery and electrical system, fluids, oil changes, filter replacements, and identifying rust, frame, and floor damage. You will also be responsible for performing general vehicle inspections to assist in the cost estimating for the mechanical reconditioning process.

Responsibilities:

Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards for all makes and models. Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair. Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts. Road test vehicles when required. Complete 360 inspections. Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended. Communicate with service advisors immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time. Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.

Skills:

Prior service experience preferred; pay rate based on experience. Attention to detail. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills expected.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.
