Our growing service department is seeking a sharp, organized, and proactive Dispatcher to manage workflow between advisors and technicians, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and on time.

Job Summary:

The Service Dispatcher is responsible for assigning repair orders to the appropriate technicians based on skill set, availability, and workload. This role is crucial to maintaining an efficient shop flow, minimizing downtime, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch repair orders to technicians according to skill level and current workload Monitor job progress and technician productivity throughout the day Coordinate closely with service advisors, technicians, and the shop foreman to manage priorities Adjust workloads dynamically to meet deadlines and maximize shop efficiency Track and report on technician performance and flag hours Maintain an organized and efficient dispatch system Support the service team with other administrative tasks as needed Manage used cars through the service dept. in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a service dispatch or shop coordination role preferred with Service advisor experience. Strong knowledge of dealership operations and repair order process Ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities Excellent organizational and communication skills Familiarity with Automate or similar DMS systems is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license
