RATE OF PAY:

Level III:

$32.92 - $40.32 Hourly (D.O.E.)

Level IV:

$36.33 - $44.50 Hourly (D.O.E.)

Summary:

Park City Municipal is seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Distribution Operator to join our dynamic team! This position plays a key role in operating and maintaining the City's water distribution system while delivering exceptional service to the community. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining the City's water distribution system, responding to customer inquiries with professionalism, and ensuring compliance with all drinking water rules and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a commitment to safeguarding public health, and a dedication to providing reliable drinking water to residents and visitors. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

(Level III):

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Utah Operators Certification:

Grade III Water Distribution and Grade III Water Treatment within six months of hire date. Valid State CDL License within six months of hire date. Within 60-minute travel time from home for emergency response.

Preferred:

Utah certification, Class I or II Backflow Technician.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

(Level IV):

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. 5 years experience in the construction, maintenance, and repair of culinary water systems.

Utah Operators Certification:

Grade IV Water Distribution and Grade IV Water Treatment within six months of hire date. Valid Utah State CDL License within six months of hire date. Within 60-minute travel time from home for emergency response.

Preferred:

Utah Distribution or Treatment Operators Certification:

Any grade Utah certification, Class I or II Backflow Technician.
