Job Description Position Summary The Leasing team is seeking a dynamic Leasing Representative for Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, HI. This exciting opportunity involves identifying and attracting a diverse range of new local, regional and national retailers. This role will contribute to optimizing the tenant mix and driving revenue through pop-up, short-term, and long-term leasing of inline and common area spaces. Responsibilities Generate income and enhance property value by understanding consumer behavior and market trends. Identify opportunities to improve the performance and profitability of assigned centers. Proactively canvas and cultivate relationships with prospective new retailers for pop-up, short-term, and long-term leasing opportunities in both inline and common areas. Manage the deal-making process, including negotiating lease terms and ensuring timing execution and store openings. Monitor key leasing performance metrics and provide regular report on leasing pipeline. Collaborate effectively with numerous internal, cross-functional teams involved in leasing activities. Manage assigned national tenant renewals and negotiate new lease agreements. Negotiate both short-term and long-term lease agreements to secure favorable terms for the company. Foster and maintain positive tenant relations. Prepare comprehensive lease request packages. Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities related to leasing. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred. 2+ years of leasing experience or equivalent experience in a sales capacity required. Demonstrated understanding of shopping center merchandising and leasing principles required. Existing network and established relationships with retail businesses in the Hawaii market, coupled with an understanding of local and visitor trends preferred. Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, drive sales, and manage time efficiently required. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills required. Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Word and Excel required. Travel Occasional travel may be required, approximately 10-20% of the time.
