Warehouse Truck Driver Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Truck Driver. This person will be responsible for transporting goods between our warehouse and our customer's job site, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. When not driving, the driver may assist with general warehouse duties such as loading/unloading, organizing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

Operate company trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand. Inspect trucks before and after trips to ensure they are in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures or documentation. Follow delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch or warehouse staff regarding delays or issues. Assist with warehouse tasks including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and organizing inventory when not on the road. Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Report and help resolve any safety issues or incidents promptly. Communicate any customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally to the warehouse manager.

Requirements:

Highschool diploma or GED preferred Clean driving record with no major violations. Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks. Familiarity with GPS devices, route planning, and delivery logs. Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work well in a team environment Strong work ethic and discipline Attention to detail and accuracy

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Split time between driving and working in a warehouse setting. Exposure to varying weather conditions while loading/unloading or during deliveries. Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely - forklift certification is a plus Monday - Friday, this is a full-time position
