Class A CDL Required Drives gasoline or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver products, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form by performing the following duties. Drives truck safely and courteously to destination. Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition. Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations, as required. Complies with local, county, state, U.S. DOT regulations. Completes driver portion of bills of lading and other designated forms and documents, as required. Ensures load is properly positioned and secured. Operate and consistently use ELD system. Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License, Commercial Driver's License, Class A, Forklift Certified by company. Obtain and maintain OSHA forklift safety certification.COMPETENCIES
Attention to Detail, Mechanical, Problem Solving, Reasoning, Teamwork, Reading, Writing, Customer Service, Self-Management EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred.COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.REASONING ABILITY
