Job Description:
A Fiber Optic Production Technician is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic components and cables.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembling and splicing fiber optic cables Inspecting and testing fiber optic components for quality control Operating specialized equipment for fiber optic production Troubleshooting and repairing fiber optic systems Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics Ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with fiber optic splicing and termination Knowledge of fiber optic testing equipment (e.g., OTDR, power meters) Manual dexterity and attention to detail Ability to work with small components and precision tools Technical training or certifications (e.g., FOA Certified Fiber Optic Technician) are a plus
Education:
