This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence from day one, specifically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays . No remote-only option. Local candidates only. Job Description This is a manual QA Analyst role responsible for validating that the developed solution meets business requirements, is free of defects, and meets quality standards. The QA Analyst will work independently to define and execute test plans, document results, report defects, and evaluate overall usability of the application or product. Responsibilities Understand project scope and collaborate with Business Analysts to align testing efforts with project objectives. Develop and execute test cases in accordance with the project schedule. Collaborate with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) teams, conduct UAT training sessions with Business and Product Owners. Address and resolve critical IT issues within the scope of the QA role. Complete, review, and obtain approval for all required QA-related SEM documents in accordance with process standards. Participate in requirements gathering and design review sessions to fully understand business needs. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners for requirement clarifications. Prepare test data and ensure readiness of the QA environment, including system interfaces. Identify and track QA Testing (QAT) defects, maintaining traceability to user stories. Partner with Product Owners to assign defect severity and assist with backlog prioritization throughout the project lifecycle. Lead defect triage meetings as needed. Coordinate with Tech Leads and Developers to ensure clarity and resolution of defects. Collaborate with UI/UX Designers to identify usability issues and provide feedback. Work alongside QA Specialists on complex or unique project deliverables. Provide analysis and input to support Go/No-Go project decisions. Top Skills & Experience Required 3 to 5 years of experience in manual software testing Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments Certification in QA testing or completion of 24 semester hours in IT coursework Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to analyze and identify software defects Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Job Types:
