Compensation:
$23-$26 ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MAJOR FUNCTIONS
Payroll Admin HR Admin Recruiting Admin Learning & Development Admin Payroll Hires new employees into the UKG system Processes employee referral and sign on bonuses Processes Exits Process direct deposit changes Process federal and state tax changes Process mileage reimbursements Runs and sends payroll reports as needed Assists managers with timecard corrections Process negative PTO for employees as needed Prep PTO transfers for HR Generalist Performs PTO audit Completes verifications of employment Assists with Year End tasks as assigned Completes OPTUM tie out each payroll Audits time off splits monthly Processes minimum wage changes as needed HR Updates employee / manager guides as needed Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff Assists employees / managers with login issues Files documents as instructed (employee reviews, P&I, etc.) Distributes OSHA logs to sites as instructed Order ID badges for corporate employees Follows up with Maintenance Techs to receive certifications (Boilers, CPO, EPA) Recruiting Assist the Recruiter with the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings Posts positions in UKG Screens applications to determine if interviews should be conducted by Recruiter Conducts employment verifications prior to offers being extended Acquires background check information and orders reports for all offers Sets up employee holding files Completes employee onboarding set up. Follows up with hiring manager as needed to receive required documents Sends Insider updates to Marketing Follows up with employees regarding fingerprinting if needed Track application source report Add positions to campaigns in Indeed L&D Assist employees with access issues Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications Runs reports and follows up with employee and manager on outstanding items Assign live training to employees based on role Mark attendance records in UKG for live training
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum education requirement of high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum two years of administration / payroll / human resource experience. Proven proficiency with Microsoft 360 tools (Excel, Word, Teams, CoPilot), Outlook and UKG (or comparable HRIS software). Knowledge of payroll, human resources or accounting basics preferred.
