As an Electrical Production Technician, you will assemble and fabricate electrical systems on equipment that satisfies customer specifications regarding process performance, safety, quality and applicable standards such as CE, etc. Along with Assemble, wire, build, and test machines and electrical equipment from schematics.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Demonstrated experience in industrial electrical panel wiring and debugging. Ability to wire a panel from prints and schematics Interpret electrical schematics, productions sheets, wire lists, and verbal instruction to build up and assemble electronic devices and components Assemble electronic devices, components, and fabricated parts at floor stations, using hand and power tools Perform tasks such as but not limited to installing circuit boards, power supplies, face plates, product labels, cables and wire harness using screws and adhesives Perform or initiate cleaning, line clearance or maintenance of equipment on the manufacturing line Work with direction from the line leader and follow written and verbal instructions Run conduits and mount hardware, do anything required to electrically build a machine Turn on and test completed machines Test, turn on, and calibrate equipment as needed Aligns, fits, and assembles component parts into completed units, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates Assembles, tests, and repairs precision electro-mechanical parts, assemblies, and equipment Tests functional performance of completed electro-mechanical assemblies, using test equipment Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements Considerable experience with assembly of precision automated machinery including use of all major hand tools Must be comfortable with drilling, tapping, cutting and grinding. Experience with mill, lathe and welding equipment is a bonus While some occasional travel may be required, for the most part this position is non-travelingQualifications:
High School Diploma required 2 - 4 years production experience in electro-mechanical assembly preferred but not required Must have experience with soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing Must have ability to utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, crimpers, and soldering machines Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing Must be able to apply basic mathematics to include adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing Must have the ability to read and work from established drawingsWork Environment:
