Lead/Trainer Driver Cornerstone Logistics LLC Madison, IL 62060 Cornerstone Logistics LLC is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Lead/Training driver to join our growing team. This position will oversee dock operations and ensure that drivers are moving the proper freight safely and on time. Lead drivers also oversee that route drivers are following processes and executing route expectations. New drivers are trained by our Lead drivers, so understanding the operation is important. This is a fast-paced work environment and will require an energetic leader who can think on their feet with a sense of urgency and finesse.

Schedule:

M-F Overnight shift- Weekends off

Pay Rate:

$250 per day

Job Details:

Transport auto and agricultural parts Responsible for assisting with driver communications Establish and enforce all safety protocols Problem solve and manage breakdowns and delays Troubleshoot route and freight issues Uphold all quality control and customer requests Flexibility to cover routes as needed.

Qualifications/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent Experience managing drivers, routes, and freight required Dock and quality control experience required Logistical problem-solving experience Positive attitude and customer service oriented Dependable team player Must be able to take initiative and be efficient with minimal supervision Must pass a background check and drug screen.
