Job Scope:
Performs all of Level I and II in addition but not limited to the following: Care Coordination for patient's needs, which includes tracking that patient referrals and testing are completed. Work collaboratively with team, to develop plan for daily assignments. Supports MA's Level I & II. Patient flow management responsibilities. Preceptor for new Medical Assistants/students. Participates in Internal Clinic audits. Professional communication style. Participates in development and maintenance of A3 for department improvement Scribing for providers.Knowledge:
Same as Level I and II and, in addition: Requires knowledge and understanding of practices and procedures in an assigned area or clinic. Begins to develop leadership knowledge/skills. Knowledge of other departments and the ability to float to various departments.Level of Supervision:
Functions independently seeking assistance as appropriate. All other duties as assigned including department-specific functions and responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned and participates in organization projects as assigned. Education Qualifications High School Diploma or GED High School Diploma or GED. Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from an approved school/institution or equivalent documented training. Experience Qualifications Three (3) years or more of related experience. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Same as Level I & II, in addition: Professional verbal and written communication skills stated above in CI Care. Super-User for Clinical Computer Systems. Demonstrate ability to orient new Clinic Staff to the Clinical Computer Systems. Licenses and Certifications Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers CMA- Certified Or Registered Medical Assistant preferred Physical Demands and Work Conditions Physical Demands Occasional Sitting.
