We are seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our Toyota service team at Toyota of Berkeley. As the primary point of contact for all automotive service and repair matters, you'll play a key role in ensuring that customers experience exceptional service, while facilitating smooth communication between customers and our expert technicians. Job Duties:
Primary Point of Contact:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all automotive service and repair inquiries, addressing customer concerns and arranging the necessary services.
Customer Communication:
Continuously update customers on repair needs, progress, and expected completion times, managing their expectations throughout the process.
Service Prioritization:
Understand customer needs and prioritize required services, offering options and solutions for their vehicle's repair and maintenance.
Service Delivery Management:
Set clear expectations for both customers and mechanics to ensure timely and quality service.
Exemplary Customer Service:
Provide top-tier customer service by maintaining professionalism and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Work Order & Estimate Preparation:
Prepare accurate service estimates and work orders for each customer, providing transparent details about labor, parts, and costs.
Previous Experience & Technical Skills:
Experience with ADP/CDK or Reynolds and Reynolds is highly preferred. Previous Service Advisor experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor required.
Customer Service:
Verifiable customer service performance record and exemplary customer service skills are a must.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with ADP/CDK or Reynolds and Reynolds is highly preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
A valid driver's license is required.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Full-Time Pay:
From $30.00 per hour
Expected Hours:
No less than 40 hours per week
Shift:
10-hour shifts, Day shift, with rotating weekends as needed
