Buffalo, NY:
An Automated Vehicle Maintenance Tech you will Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all Cereal plant Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV's), forktrucks, mobile lift devices and sanitation equipment by using preventative and reactive techniques to ensure system reliability. Perform any reasonable work request within General Maintenance. Ensure that work is in accordance with the Company, State and Federal regulations.
Shift hours:
8-hour swing shift schedule - rotation every week 1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm 2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm Rotation is 1 week on 1st shift, then 1 week on 2nd shift 8-hour steady nights only schedule 3rd shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Able and willing to work any shift schedule needed Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Plant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Pay:
$37.70 per hour Additional $.34 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shift Additional $.41 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift Overtime pay Time worked after 8 hours of work is paid at 1.5 times regular rate of pay Time worked on Saturday is paid at 1.5 times regular rate of pay Time worked on Sunday is paid at 2 times (double pay) regular rate of pay

RIGHT and gain skills to take with you to your next opportunity Follow all Safety procedures and support all safety initiatives ensuring safety of personnel and safe operation of equipment Provide support for all Cereal Plant AGV's including mechanical, electrical, controls, Red Prairie integration and wireless troubleshooting Maintain and troubleshoot Cereal Plant fleet of forktrucks, mobile lift devices and sanitation equipment (ex. floor scrubbers) Maintain all quality and GMP standards What you have to offer: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the application/troubleshooting of PLC, servos, HMI device operation, sensors, and other automation devices Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting which should include experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, lubrication systems, transmission systems and engine / machine repair Must be willing to work 7 days a week on any shift, as well as weekends, holidays, and overtime as required Proficient in both computer hardware, software (ex. Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows Explorer), and possess working knowledge of Windows Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
