This position may work remotely anywhere in the United States of America with significant business travel to and from prospect/client sites and/or the Quantum Health home office in Dublin, OH. - Partner with the Principal AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI solutions, including optimizing Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms, and other state-of-the-art tools.
- Play a hands-on role in solving complex technical challenges, including debugging and optimizing AI systems when needed.
- Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies and frameworks to solve complex healthcare challenges and deliver high-impact solutions.
- Ensure AI projects align with the organization's strategic vision and technical roadmap.
- Manage the end-to-end technical delivery of AI projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Actively contribute to critical areas of development or debugging, stepping in when challenges arise to ensure project success.
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and risk management to drive successful outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining the security and integrity of AI systems.
- Monitor the progress of AI initiatives, providing updates to leadership and resolving technical or operational roadblocks.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering technical growth, innovation, and collaboration within the AI engineering team.
- Build and maintain a high-performing team, identifying skill gaps and recommending hiring strategies to address them.
- Encourage a culture of knowledge sharing through code reviews, technical workshops, and team discussions.
- Provide career development opportunities and guidance to ensure team members reach their full potential.
- Lead by example, contributing code and demonstrating technical best practices to inspire the team.
