HVAC & Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with overtime available)
Hourly Pay:
$27+ per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated HVAC & Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll work in a collaborative, self-directed environment, performing critical maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment. If you have hands-on experience with HVAC systems, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Perform startup, regulation, repair, and shutdown of equipment, ensuring safe and economical operation. Monitor and adjust equipment using meters, gauges, and computerized controls. Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment such as pumps, motors, HVAC systems, and other mechanical/electrical systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, using hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance. Maintain all facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components, ensuring they operate efficiently and cost-effectively. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and proactively resolve problems. Maintain excellent communication with team members, clients, and managers, ensuring a customer-service-oriented approach. Operate machinery and tools such as forklifts, boom lifts, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Follow all safety, environmental, and compliance guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Required Experience:
Strong HVAC and preventative maintenance experience Mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience with pumps, motors, air compressors, and HVAC systems Experience operating and maintaining equipment like forklifts and boom lifts Basic woodworking, plumbing, and pipe fitting knowledge Welding experience (arc and acetylene welding)
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of motor control systems and electrical equipment Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) Fabrication skills for equipment and parts
Education & Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED (Technical Degree is a plus) Relevant certifications in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical fields are a plus Why Join Us?
