Position Summary:
Join our dynamic Performance Engineering team, focused on ensuring high-quality, performant systems and applications. As we transition our code base to the cloud and modernize our technology stack, we are looking for a motivated Performance Engineer with a strong Java background, experience being a key contributor in SRE operations and experience with cloud platforms. Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in Performance Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Java Spring Boot and knowledge of Java-based performance optimization
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP or Azure) and Kubernetes, AKS or GKE.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with performance testing and monitoring tools, including JMeter, LoadRunner, Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana
  • Competency with APIs & microservices-based design
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and techniques, including deep learning, natural language processing, generative AI, and computer vision
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and scripting (Shell, Python)
  • Knowledge of container orchestration and microservices design
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and version control (Git)
  • Experience designing, implementing, and delivering automations to execute performance tests to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance
  • Analyze performance test results and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand performance requirements and integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Identify performance bottlenecks that impact cloud-native workloads, tune and collaborate with other software teams to improve performance

POSITION SUMMARY
As part of the automation team, the Senior Software Development Engineer will contribute to various automation deliverables and initiatives. This engineer will act as a SME for automation scope for all of health, SuperApp UI and API automation as required. Additionally responsibilities will be to collaborate with stakeholders to build scalable test automation solutions, identify test coverage gaps / improve test coverage, report bugs and coordinate on resolution. What you will do
  • Designs and defines the technical architecture and infrastructure required for digital solutions
  • Writes code, develops software components, and implements complex functionalities according to project requirements
  • Collaborates with other members of the development team and stakeholders to make high-level architectural decisions, proposes design patterns, and ensures scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions
  • Leverages advanced programming skills to design and implement complex features, optimize performance, and ensure code efficiency
  • Integrates various software components or systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between different parts of the digital solution
  • Writes and executes comprehensive test cases, conducts code reviews, performs debugging, and troubleshoots issues to ensure the reliability, stability, and high quality of digital solutions
  • Participates in agile or other development methodologies, attends meetings, contributes to project planning, and helps drive the progress and success of digital projects
  • Explores new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions and drive innovation within the development team
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, code documentation, and other relevant documentation while sharing their knowledge and expertise with team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and collaboration
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in test automation programming
  • 3+ years of experience leading test automation initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience with Javascript/TypeScript
  • 2+ years of proficiency in automation tools such as Playwright, WebdriverIO or similar
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and SDLC
  • Experience with version control systems and CICD
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $101,970.00

00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
