Job Description:

We are looking for a system administrator with a minimum of 3 years ofexperience, Tanium experience is preferred.

This role will be working 100% remote- candidates in consideration mustreside in the State of Colorado.

We cannot provide sponsorship or work C2C.

System Admin's Statement of Work:

Security Vulnerabilities Patching and Application Updates and Deployments 80%This position assists in providing technical support to SecurityVulnerabilities. Patching and Application Patching and Deployments whichincludes the use of incident/change order system and the following activities:

Assist in the mission and support of the Tanium application and systems.

Monitor and follow up on assigned incidents/problems/change requestsFollow up on resolved/closed tickets to ensure customer satisfactionProvide support for hardware and software issues over the phone, in personand/or remotelyProvide resolution and assistance for operating systems for Windows Server andLinux based systemsProvide resolution and assistance for Physical and Virtual serversDeploy new or rebuilt computers and technology equipment based on OIT andagency security and operational policiesSupport software and hardware patching, updating and deploymentsAssist with collaborating with Network, Application, Database and Serverteams to resolve issues for assigned agencies.

Provide after-hours support for patching and updating security vulnerabilitiesand updates to applicationsBe able to respond to urgent security incidents as they arise during businesshours and outside business hours.

Receive and/or log service incidents into ticketing system. Reassignincident tickets related to other Information Technology Groups for furthersupportIT and Customer Service Management - 10%This position follows the established Change Management (RFC) process.

Use established tools to track hardware and software assets.

Assist with informing/sharing new documentation/information withappropriate IT groups.

Assist in ensuring systems are patched and updated using Tanium in accordancewith policies and procedures.

The position assists with making recommendations to the compliance teams andleadership in regard to when to upgrade certain software packages, hardwaredriver packages and security vulnerabilities within a maintenance timescheduleDue to the distributed environment, certain remote locations within variousagencies may require onsite visits. The position assists with determiningwhether a particular hardware driver package or hardware firmware updates mayrequire onsite visits to remote locations.

Organizational and Project Commitment - 5%The position assists in implementing projects for. This includes participatingin team meetings and implementing project tasks and time tracking.

Attend and complete all internal provided training and take advantage ofprofessional development with manager approval.

Share new knowledge or skills in form of mini training sessions with the team.

Some legacy software might not install on newer systems. The position willassist in researching compatibility mode and if feasible will install thesoftware using the mode recommended by the OS.Other Duties as Assigned - 5%This position may require additional duties related to technical debt.
