Job Details McGuff Pharmaceuticals, Inc. currently has an opening for an l IT Service Tech / Help Desk Support Tech. McGuff's IT service team is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's IT systems and for providing efficient desktop support to all business users. The team is responsible for resolving any IT-related faults quickly and efficiently in-line with SLAs, which includes a broad range of queries. Essential Functions and Duties shall include: To log all service calls on the ticketing system and maintain full documentation Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected Respond to inquiries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems Provide effective and friendly IT support services both onsite and remotely. To ensure that all incidents are closed within SLA To ensure that all installations are completed in a timely and professional fashion and that deadlines are either achieved or exceeded upon Working with internal users to ensure operational and service excellence is delivered and maintained Providing end-user, desktop support Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops Installing authorized software to laptops and desktops Troubleshoot desktop and system problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software Pull, organize, terminate and test Cat6 Cat6A cable and Fiber Optic cable installations. Ability to install cables in-ceiling, riser space, conduits and raised floors. Routes cable within walls, between floors and modular furniture. Installs cable tray, racks and cabinets. Works in a safe manner and promotes safety within the team Ensure compliance with all HR, Safety, and company policies and procedures Role model in performance standards and demonstrates and champions behaviors in line with the service delivery strategy Takes every opportunity to go the extra mile for the company Has excellent attention to detail Excellent organisational and prioritization skills Always willing to cooperate and assist Proactive approach to work and to continuous improvement Experience with Microsoft Windows, Server, Office (All Versions) in a business environment A+ Certification a plus. Networking experience with HP and Cisco devices (TCP/IP, IP Addressing and subnetting, VLAN) Minimum Qualifications shall include::
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Prior work experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device manufacturing environment not required, but is preferred.Physical Requirements:
Position requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching above shoulder level. You must be able to comfortably be able to do so. Position requires sitting, standing, walking, handling and manipulating objects (manual dexterity and fine finger movement). Position will require repetitively lifting/carrying up to 75 pounds.What Is Expected of you:
