POSITION

1st Shift Lead QA NSIS Technician

DEPARTMENT

Quality Control

LOCATION

Worthington

Principle Responsibilities:

Knowledgeable in all NSIS areas and Processes, including Pathology.

• Supervise QA Technicians
• Monitor and ensure that all NSIS positions are covered.
• Perform NSIS duties as well cover NSIS positions.
• Monitor and ensure proper procedures, safety, and cleanliness of the production of the product.
• Perform HACCP verifications.
• Inspect various products to ensure compliance with Company specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

• Production and maintenance settings.
• Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives.
• Slippery floors, extreme temperatures and loud noises.

Requirements:

• NSIS knowledge.
• Computer Skills.
• Production experience preferred in a food processing facility.
• Resume required.

Education:

• High School degree or equivalent required

• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in English
• Good Math Skills
• Self-Starter
• Bilingual skills helpful
• Excellent conflict resolution skills
• Computer knowledge required
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work 50+ hours
