$5,000 HIRING BONUS! The PNB Mt Angel has a Transport Driver position available. This position is responsible for driving a tractor/trailer truck to make long-distance pick-ups and deliveries of predominantly finished product or materials/supplies. Individual must be able and willing to work any and all shifts as necessary.

Primary Job Accountabilities:

Deliver finished product or raw materials to assigned destination Ensure safety and compliance of load Checks and/or assists in the loading/unloading of the trailer Obtains proper authorization for all deliveries/pick-ups Responsible for checking vehicle for proper and safe operating condition before and after each trip Must maintain a DOT driver's log, other required transportation documentation and adhere to all DOT and PNB regulations

Job Eligibility Criteria:

High school diploma or GED 21 years of age or older Class A CDL required, Hazmat endorsements preferred Must be able to safely operate automatic as well as 10, 13, and/or 18 speed manual transmissions. Must not have an E—No Manual Transmission Equipped CMV Restriction on Commercial Driver's License. Must not have an K—Intrastate Only Restriction on Commercial Driver's License. 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years No moving violations within the past three years and no at-fault accidents within the last five years Experience operating trucks requiring a CDL Class A license (for example, driving forwards, driving backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces, dropping, and hooking, operating landing gear, or backing into docks and confined spaces) Experience preferred in hauling consumer products and perishable consumer goods (for example, transporting unstable loads or hauling different weights on different trip segments) Experience operating a tractor-trailer in different conditions (for example, highway driving, side/local roads, city/country, maneuvering in tight spaces) Requires working tractor/trailer components, including bending and cranking landing gear as well as climbing in and out of cabs and sitting for extended periods of time Must be able to work well as a Team with other individuals with diverse experiences, backgrounds, and personalities.
